Menu online · CMP Suite
Your menu answers before they ask.
A tourist from Germany reads it in German, a customer who can't have milk filters it out on their own and when a price changes you reprint nothing. You set it up in the CMP back office from your till export, in your coffee shop's colours.
€4.99 a month or €49 a year. No app to download, for you or for your customers.

Our own coffee shop
Open it now, on your phone.
This is our coffee shop's menu, live, exactly as a customer sees it after scanning the QR code. Try switching the language or removing milk with the allergen filter.

Three questions at the counter, before ten o'clock.
The cappuccino has gone up by ten cents and the new price is written in pen on the laminated menu. A couple of tourists point at a line and wait. A young woman asks whether there's milk in the pistachio croissant. Someone goes into the back to look for the allergen folder while the queue reaches the door.
They are all fair questions. They just come to you, or to whoever is behind the counter, at the very hour when every pair of hands is needed for coffee.
A menu that answers on its own leaves the counter to the work that matters, making coffee and looking people in the eye.
How it works
From your till export to the QR code on the table.
Everything happens in the CMP back office, the same one we use to run our coffee shop's menu. You open it on a computer or on your phone.
-
1. You activate the menu from the customer area.
Choose monthly or yearly payment, by card or SEPA direct debit. Your venue is created along with the payment and a button in the area takes you straight to the back office, where the menu is already set up and waiting for your products.
-
2. You bring in your products.
If they are already in a till, you download its export, copy the columns into our Excel template and upload it from the back office. Before saving you see what goes in, what changes and which rows need fixing. Nothing is written until you confirm. If your till only prints receipts, you create categories and products by hand, one by one.
You mark allergens in a column of the file or item by item. When a price changes you correct it in the catalogue or upload the file again, which updates only what has changed. The QR codes on the tables stay the same.
-
3. You give it your coffee shop's look.
Start from one of seven ready-made themes and make it yours with colours, fonts, logo and cover image. Next to it you see the menu inside a phone, changing as you choose. If a colour makes the text hard to read, it tells you before you save and suggests one that reads well.
-
4. You put it in front of your customers.
Copy the link for Instagram, Google and your website, or download the QR codes as a PDF, with four table cards per sheet and a sign for the counter. Whoever scans the code finds the menu in Italian, English, Spanish, German and French. The menu translates itself and you correct any translation you don't like. With the allergen filter, customers remove anything containing the allergens they can't eat, from the 14 on the EU list.
Once the allergens are in order, you generate the allergen register as a PDF to keep printed at the counter. From then on customers find it on the menu as well.
€4.99 a month or €49 a year. You cancel on your own, from the customer area.
For your customers
Everything they ask, on their own phone.
-
The menu in their language.
Italian, English, Spanish, German and French. It opens in the browser, from the QR code or a link, with nothing to download.
-
Allergens at a fingertip.
With the filter, customers choose what they can't eat from the 14 allergens on the EU list and the menu shows only the items that don't contain them.
-
The menu on paper too.
The menu and the allergen register download as PDFs, for anyone who wants to read them at leisure.
-
Your coffee shop, recognisable.
The colours, fonts, logo and product photos are yours. Items you serve only at certain hours can disappear outside them and anything that has run out you mark as sold out for today.
For you
Who opens it and where they come from.
In the Statistics section of the back office you see how many times the menu is opened, day by day and hour by hour. You see where customers come from (table QR, counter QR, link, Instagram, Google), which language they read in, which categories they look at and which allergens they exclude, over today, seven, thirty or ninety days.
If a good share of summer visits come in German, you know which language to use for the sign in the window. If many people exclude milk, an extra plant-based drink deserves some thought.
These are aggregate numbers, with no cookies and nothing that tells one customer from another. You ask your customers for no consent and a line at the bottom of the menu says so.
What it does and what it leaves to you.
Menu online is a shop window. It doesn't take orders at the table and it doesn't take payments. Orders stay at the counter, as they are today.
It doesn't connect to your till. If you change a price on the till, you change it in the menu catalogue as well, by hand or by uploading the file again. The same goes for a new product. A direct connection exists only with the CMP point of sale, which is coming soon.
You declare the allergens. The menu shows them, filters them and translates them, but their accuracy remains yours, as with the folder you keep today. When you generate the register you confirm this by accepting a notice.
Why it exists
Built for our own coffee shop, now for yours too.
We built Menu online first of all for our own coffee shop. For four years we had paid another service for a QR menu. We wanted a menu that did everything we needed at the counter: allergens in five languages, a register ready to print, statistics without cookies, prices changed in one place only.
Today it is live in our coffee shop and runs from the same back office you get. Every app in the CMP suite is tested in our own coffee shop before it goes on sale.
Behind CMP is Matteo Borea, a third-generation coffee professional, with 20+ years in the trade, Q Arabica Grader certification and clients in 30 countries.
Price
One price, everything included.
€4.99 a month, or €49 a year, which is less than ten months at the monthly price. It includes everything described above: catalogue and file upload, design with live preview, five languages, allergen filter and register, menu and QR code PDFs, statistics.
You pay by card or SEPA direct debit, download your invoices from the customer area and cancel on your own from the same place. Available for venues outside Spain. The back office and the customer area are in Italian for now; the menu your customers read comes in five languages.
The menu is also your way into the CMP suite. In the back office you see the other sections of the suite, marked as not active. Today you can add CMP Shift, for rotas and clocking in; the other apps are coming soon.
Before you activate it, the questions people behind a counter ask.
Do I need to change my till?
Keep yours. Menu online works alongside any till, even one that only prints receipts. You bring your products in through the export or by hand.
How long does it take to get started?
The upload itself, even for a few hundred products, takes a few seconds. The time goes into matching the export's columns to the template, once.
Is the back office in English?
Not yet. The back office and the customer area are in Italian for now. The menu your customers read comes in Italian, English, Spanish, German and French.
What if the file has a mistake?
If even a single row is wrong, nothing is saved. The preview tells you which row it is and what to fix. When you upload the file again, products that aren't in it stay as they were. So do the customer-facing names, the photos and any allergen corrections made in the menu.
Does it work for a pastry shop, where the display changes every day?
Whatever runs out you mark as sold out for today. Items you serve only at certain hours can disappear outside them.
Can I correct the translations?
The menu translates itself into five languages. Any translation you don't like you correct in the back office and the automatic translation leaves it alone from then on.
Do my customers need to download an app?
A phone camera is enough. The menu opens in the browser.
How do I cancel?
From the customer area, whenever you like, without writing to anyone.
Your menu, in the language of whoever walks in.
The laminated menu can stay where it is, with the price corrected in pen and the folder in the back. Or you upload your till's file and the next customer who asks about milk finds the answer on their own.
€4.99 a month or €49 a year.
