For coffee shops and pastry shops

You look after your customers. CMP takes care of the rest.

We're a software house with our own micro roastery and specialty coffee shop. Your menu in five languages, staff rotas, supplier delivery notes, the POS system. We build the digital tools a coffee shop runs on and test them in our own before they go on sale, so your time goes back to the counter.

Two jobs behind every counter

Anyone who runs a coffee shop or a pastry shop does two jobs. The first is the one they opened for. Espresso extracted with real craft, pastries out of the oven while they're still warm, the regular greeted by name before they reach the register.

The second slips into the quiet moments and carries on after closing. The rota to redo because someone called in sick, the hours to add up at the end of the month, delivery notes waiting in a drawer for the invoice, a customer asking about allergens in the tart while the queue reaches the door, milk prices rising while the menu board stays where it was.

Coffee Marketing Pro builds the tools for the second job. We're a software house with a micro roastery and a specialty coffee shop of our own, so we do both jobs ourselves, every day. The apps in the suite share the same foundation and the services come from people who use those apps in their own coffee shop. The first job stays yours, with all the time it deserves.

The CMP suite, app by app

Each app takes one specific job off your day. Use one on its own or put them together, because they're all built on the same foundation.

At closing you count the drawer, run the Z report and download everything to Excel. It uses the same products and prices as the rest of the suite and connects directly to Menu online.

Services, when you need an extra pair of hands

Next to the apps there's work done by people. We manage your coffee shop's website and online shop, which always stay in your name. We build automations that take emails, content and reports off your desk. And there's consulting, to go through your numbers with someone who keeps a coffee shop open for real.

If you want your regulars to carry your coffee shop in their pocket, we build an app with your own brand, with a loyalty card on their phone and a direct line to talk to them. It's made to measure for each venue and quoted per project, like the one we built for CoffeeStorming.

CoffeeStorming, where we put it all to the test

CoffeeStorming is our own specialty coffee shop and micro roastery in Albenga, on the Italian Riviera. It's where we test every tool, on the busy days and the bad ones, before it reaches your counter.

Rotas, requests and clocking in already run through CMP Shift with our own staff, while the Scanner reads supplier delivery notes and invoices and records the data as the goods come in.

Our menu is live on Menu online. Open it on your phone and you see it exactly as a customer would after scanning the QR code.

Everything we give you, we've tested and used ourselves first.

Five photos of the CoffeeStorming coffee shop: the wall with the sign «We love making people happy with coffee», the long table by the window, hands dosing ground coffee, the chairs in the dining area and a cup on the counter.

What stays yours

The craft. The coffee, the pastries, welcoming your regulars at the same time every morning. We free up your time so you can do it even better.

A few limits, said up front. Menu online doesn't take orders or payments; orders stay at the counter. CMP Shift counts hours and doesn't run payroll, which stays with your accountant. No app raises your prices for you or stops suppliers raising theirs. The apps show you the numbers in time. The decision stays yours.

Questions from behind the counter

How much does a cup of coffee really cost a coffee shop?

It depends on what you pay for coffee, milk and packaging. You work it out drink by drink, starting from the coffee in each dose and what you pay for it, then adding milk, cups and lids where needed. The free Coffee Cost Calculator does the sum in a few clicks with your own prices. The file is yours to keep.

Is there a rota and clock-in app made for coffee shops and pastry shops?

It's called CMP Shift. The manager plans the rota, staff clock in from their phones and request holidays, time off or shift swaps. At the end of the month the timesheet comes out with the hours already counted, ready for your accountant. We already use it with our own staff. It's coming soon for every coffee shop, Android included.

Does CMP Shift run payroll?

No. It records hours, absences and requests and prepares the timesheet. Pay, overtime rates and contract rules stay with your accountant, who gets the hours ready to use.

Do I need to change my POS system to use the suite?

No. Each app works on its own. Menu online, for example, works alongside any POS system. You bring your products in from your POS export, or by hand if your register only prints receipts. The CMP POS system, when it arrives, will be one more option.

How much does the CMP suite cost?

Menu online costs €4.99 a month or €49 a year. Its back office is in Italian for now. CMP Shift, the Scanner, the POS system and CMP Cloud will get their prices when they launch. The Scanner will start with a first plan of 60 pages a month. In the free demo we work out together what you need.

What will I see in the free demo?

The suite at work on a day like yours, starting from the jobs that take up most of your time today. It's free and commits you to nothing. If you don't need anything for now, we'll tell you.

Who is behind Coffee Marketing Pro?

Matteo Borea, a third-generation coffee professional with 20+ years in the trade, Q Arabica Grader certification and clients in 30 countries. Every app is born in our own businesses before it reaches yours.
